About: Gloria Kinyae is a digital health communications specialist and researcher with experience across science communication, public health, youth engagement, and community centered innovation in Africa. She currently leads strategic communications and stakeholder engagement for an innovative digital health platform expanding access to primary, reproductive, and maternal care for underserved communities in Africa. Gloria holds a Master’s in Communication (Development and Corporate Communication), where her research examined the role of digital communication in shaping public trust and behavior change during COVID-19. Her current research investigates how AI-enabled digital health tools for infectious diseases are communicated and adopted in underserved African communities. She is a Research Impact Scholar at the Leaders of Africa Institute, and previously represented African youth perspectives on health inequalities and governance at the World Health Summit 2021.
