About: Aonat Salman is a recent graduate of the Department of Nursing, University of Ibadan where she got her BSc in nursing science. She is a registered nurse and registered midwife in Nigeria. She is a dynamic and motivated individual who is constantly involved in policy development, volunteerism, leadership and research. She has been involved with a lot of youth development programs and activities while working with various non-governmental organizations across africa. She has a published research titled 'Student Nurses' Perception towards Ageism in Nigeria. She also has certifications from The Global Health Network where she completed courses on genomic research and research in global health emergencies. She served as a Hult Prize, University of Ibadan ambassador in 2020, a delegate of Yemen for the Ibadan Model United Nations and a writer for the Slum and Rural Health Initiative. Aonat currently serves as a global youth ambassador for TheirWorld, an executive for The Ganglion Initiative and a member of East African Consortium for Clinical Research.
