About: Nutrition officer working at the intersection of Food Policy, Public Health Nutrition, and Food Innovation, dedicated to building resilient, equitable, and sustainable food systems. I have a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, and MSc in Public Health Nutrition and Policy from Bayero University Kano State, Nigeria. I am Currently pursuing GLOBAL FOOD SECURITY AND NUTRITION at the University of Edinburgh. As Chairperson of the Nutrition Society of Nigeria, Kano State Chapter, I have guided young nutrition professionals for career growth and leadership, organized capacity-building programs, and engaged citizens through media campaigns to raise awareness on nutrition and food system issues. I also led the Fight Malnutrition Project, reaching over 5000 children and women of reproductive age, while mentoring frontline health workers and volunteers to deliver impactful nutrition and food interventions. My work bridges research, policy, and practical implementation, translating evidence into sustainable solutions for food security, nutrition, and public health.
